Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter not natural
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar + extra for rolling
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Gradually mix into wet ingredients until combined.
  • Shape Dough: Roll into 1-inch balls, coat in sugar, and flatten with a fork in a crisscross pattern.
  • Bake: 10–12 mins for soft cookies, 12–14 mins for crisp. Cool on sheet for 5 mins before transferring.
